A transfer line for working tube is a staged system in which the different operations a tube part requires (cutting, bending, forming, welding, machining, assembly...) are separated into clearly defined workstations. Parts move from station to station via an automatic transfer system, making it possible to achieve even complex geometries in a matter of seconds. It's the solution designed for customers who need to produce large quantities of tube parts with maximum repeatability.
Each AMI line is designed and built to measure: no two transfer lines are alike, because each one is defined according to the final product, the production volume and the specific operations the customer needs to integrate. A team of engineers works alongside the customer to find the most suitable technical solution, from the preliminary project through design, production, assembly, initial testing and after-sales maintenance service.
With over 45 years of experience in industrial automation and tube processing, AMI controls the entire production chain in-house: engineering and design with 3D CAD tools, in-house PLC programming, boilermaking and electro-welded structures, machining on latest-generation centres, quality control with precision measuring instruments, and final assembly and commissioning of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This full integration guarantees maximum flexibility and fast response to the demands of each project.
