Bending with three rolls. For structural profile and large-section tube.

Fitted with CNC control as standard to repeat the radius on long runs.

The opening range between rolls determines whether the machine adapts to several sections.

Buying guide

Which 3-roll bending machine do you need?

The 3-roll bending machine applies the bend by passing the tube or profile between three rolls: two fixed rolls that hold the material and one moving roll that applies progressive pressure. It’s the reference technology for structural profile and large-section tube, where an internal mandrel isn’t needed because the working radius is wide.

01

CNC control as standard

In this catalog, 3-roll bending machines come with CNC control, which lets you program the radius, repeat it precisely on long runs, and adapt the process to different profiles without depending on the operator’s manual skill on each part. The catalog includes in-house equipment under the Curvaser brand and equipment from Thoman.

02

Working section and opening range

The larger the tube or profile section you need to bend, the greater the machine power required to maintain precision on the programmed radius. If your production combines several sections through the year, prioritize a machine with a good opening range between rolls over one sized for a single reference.

03

3-roll or another technology?

If the radius you need is tight or the tube has a thin wall, consider mandrel bending instead. To see the rest of the bending technologies, visit tube and profile bending.
