Used manual and CNC rod bending machines. Inspected, with Curvaser technical support.

Prioritize CNC equipment if your part requires several bends per geometry.

Confirm the condition of the dies and roller tooling before buying.

Buying guide

Which used rod bending machine do you need?

This section brings together used rod bending machines, from brands such as OMCG, VARO and others, in manual, semi-automatic, automatic and CNC-controlled versions, with different diameter ranges and years of manufacture depending on the model available in the used catalog at any given time.

01

Bending tooling, the first thing to check

The part most sensitive to wear on a bending machine is the die and roller tooling. On CNC equipment, it’s also worth checking the condition of the numerical control and the servomotors, which are decisive for keeping programmed geometries repeatable between units and production runs.

02

Available technical documentation

It’s worth verifying that the machine still has its original technical documentation, or that support is available to consult it, since it makes the initial setup and parameter adjustment easier for your specific production from the first day of work in your workshop.

03

CNC for complex geometries

If your production includes geometries with several bends per part, prioritize used CNC equipment over manual versions, since repeatability between units is harder to guarantee without numerical control. Before buying, also confirm the machine accepts the maximum diameter you need to work and the type of steel common in your production.
