As a systems provider, RSA not only designs all its sawing and deburring machines modularly so they integrate seamlessly into the customer's production, but has also developed a wide range of additional modules to optimize production, increase quality and improve profitability.
Deburring, chamfering, measuring, inspection, cleaning, stacking: there's a suitable solution for every purpose, whether standalone or linked as a complete line. All downstream processing modules can be freely combined and retrofitted at any time. They can be linked with many third-party machines.
Feeding
Bundle loader: fully automatic feeding of material bundles — the system gently separates individual bars from the bundle and feeds them into the sawing centre without manual intervention. Suitable for round, square and rectangular material in different diameters and lengths.
Inclined magazine: gravity feed of round and profiled material via precision inclined surfaces. Especially rugged, virtually maintenance-free and ideal for heavy parts.
Flat magazine: horizontal feed of sensitive, coated or non-round profiles on flat transport surfaces. Prevents rolling and tilting, ensuring precise, scratch-free feeding even for delicate parts. Only the flat magazine allows automatic return of offcuts to the magazine.
Handling — Pick & Place
Drop-free transfer: the servo-driven Pick & Place unit removes each sawn fixed length directly from the rear clamp and gently places it in the V-shaped receiving device of the next station. Drop distances are reduced to virtually zero, with no surface damage or tolerance deviations.
Quick changeover, maximum flexibility: the plastic-coated aluminium gripper jaws adapt precisely to any part diameter. Changing to a new profile takes minutes, not hours.
For short parts under 100 mm, a dedicated chute discharges them as bulk material directly after the saw, automatically separating head offcuts and remnants.
Diverters
Split-second sorting at full production speed: the pneumatic diverter system routes short lengths up to 350 mm left, right or straight ahead, precisely and reliably. Available as a single diverter for simple good/bad separation or a double diverter for simultaneous left/right sorting.
Rugged and virtually maintenance-free: no complex drive technology or wear-prone mechanics. Switching between sorting programs takes seconds via the RSA control panel.
Pusher with deposit tables
Flexible two-sided part distribution: the powerful pushers are available in lengths of 1, 2 and 3 metres and reliably push sawn lengths left or right onto the deposit tables, ideal for high volumes and variable sorting requirements.
Designed for continuous duty, with hardened guides for jam-free operation even with heavy or oiled parts. Stations are controlled through the RSA system, with freely programmable sorting patterns.
Short tube lengths
Short tube lengths from 20 to 200 mm are fed fully automatically by a vibratory feeder, which sorts randomly incoming parts and delivers them in a defined position to the downstream processing stations.
A pre-vibratory conveyor with a perforated screen surface reliably removes chips, burrs and cutting remnants before the parts reach the vibrator, protecting the system and ensuring trouble-free operation.
Deburring
Fully automatic deburring systems for burr-free parts directly after the cutting process, with high precision on both single and multiple cuts.
Up to Ø100 mm: two solutions, for short tubes from 20 to 200 mm or long material from 100 to 4,650 mm.
Up to Ø150 mm: for large diameters, machines part lengths from 150 to 4,100 mm, also on single and multiple cuts, with servo drive axes.
Chamfering
Automated part chamfering integrated directly into the production line, with precisely defined chamfer geometries, essential for subsequent welding, assembly or threading.
Ø6 to 50 mm: for part lengths from 20 to 200 mm or 150 to 3,000 mm, also available as a simultaneous double-chamfer system.
Ø10 to 100 mm: same length range, with length tolerance of ±0.05 mm and adjustable chamfer angles and depths.
Measuring / Inspection
RASACHECK are modular measuring systems that measure each part individually and automatically eject non-conforming parts, for documented process capability (Cpk).
RASACHECK S: continuous-flow length measurement at the deburring machine outlet (with RASAPLAN XY), up to 7,500 pieces/h, absolute precision of approx. 0.06 mm.
RASACHECK A: mechanical length measurement for round, rectangular and square profiles, up to 3,000 pieces/h. Round tube Ø8-101.6 mm, square tube 10×10-75×75 mm, fixed lengths 100-4,500 mm.
Cleaning and drying
RASACLEAN ET: the standard for in-line tube cleaning. Parts are transferred individually and cleaned fully automatically, with no manual intervention. 700 l cleaning tank, approx. 40 kW installed power, max. temperature 60°C, round tubes Ø10-100 mm.
TURBODRY: removes every last drop with high-pressure hot-air nozzles, even on long tubes and complex profiles. 2-zone design with 15 kW installed power. TURBODRY Super Dry option available for tubes over 2,000 mm or very thin diameters (< 12 mm).
