Straightening, bending, beveling and welding. For wire rod at any stage of the line.

From the coil to the finished part, with auxiliary equipment for the full line.

The first process depends on the supply format: the coil dictates the initial straightening.

Buying guide

Which process do you need for your rod?

Wire rod is usually supplied in coils, which dictates the first process in the line. From there, the rest of the operations depend on the final part you need to produce and on whether that part will be joined to another element by welding or threading.

01

Straightening, cutting and bending

Straightening removes the coil curvature before any later operation. Trimming to length adjusts the rod to the part’s exact length, and bending applies the final geometry, from simple parts to complex shapes with several bends.

02

Beveling and welding

When the part requires joining with another element, beveling the end or welding between rods comes into play, common in the manufacture of mesh and structural reinforcement.

03

Auxiliary equipment

Alongside the process machines, auxiliary equipment handles coil feeding and material handling between stations, relevant once volume already requires minimizing manual handling for weight and safety reasons. None of these operations is exclusive: most parts go through several of them before leaving the plant, in an order that depends on the component’s final design and on whether it requires joining with another element.
