Resistance welding for rod. For mesh, reinforcement cages and series components.

Single-point or multi-point equipment, depending on the parts per unit.

In civil works and construction, process repeatability is often a regulatory requirement.

Buying guide

Which rod welding machine do you need?

Machines in this family join rods together, usually by resistance welding at the crossing point, to manufacture mesh, reinforcement cages and components made up of several rods welded in a defined, repeatable geometry between units.

01

Diameter and number of points per part

The larger the rod diameter, the higher the welding power needed to guarantee a strong joint at the crossing point. On parts with many points per unit, such as welded mesh, it’s worth considering multi-point equipment over a single-point machine that repeats the operation sequentially.

02

A regulated operation in many cases

In civil works and construction, welding reinforcement cages is usually a regulated operation, so process repeatability is as important as the final joint’s strength. Electrode and welding parameter adjustment requires continuous technical follow-up to maintain joint quality over time.

03

Welding or beveling?

If your part’s requirement is to prepare the end before a welded joint, rather than directly welding two crossed rods, consider beveling instead, a common preliminary operation in the same process.
